About the Recipe

This is a quick and delicious way of cooking your broccolini from Pog's Garden. A flavorful dish that can be paired with any meats or tofu for a vegetarian dish. Meats or tofu should be sautéed the same way with olive oil, ginger, and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Pog's Garden broccolini

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 2 tablespoon of mince fresh ginger

  • Olive oil

  • Soy sauce (preferred La Choy brand)

Preparation

Step 1

Rinse your broccolini and Julian (diagonal cut) the larger stalks.

Step 2

Mince the two cloves of garlic.  Be sure to peel the skin before mincing the ginger (2 tablespoons).

Step 3

Generously add olive oil to a deep pan or wok.  Turn heat to high and brown the minced garlic and ginger together.  Watch closely, garlic and ginger turns from brown to burnt in a matter of seconds.

Step 4

Stir broccolini for about 5-10 minutes.  If you prefer broccolini to be softer, stir for a longer time.  Broccolini should turned darker but bright green.  Turn off heat and spoon onto a plate.  Sprinkle soy sauce to taste and serve.
